We are delighted to welcome Baccarha to the Tricoton team!
A passionate knitter for over 50 years, she discovered this art from her grandmother and has never stopped since. Curious and a jack-of-all-trades, Baccarha
enthusiastically explores all facets of knitting and constantly enjoys experimenting with new techniques.
Versatile and deeply creative, she sees knitting as much more than a skill: a true creative process where each stitch tells a story.
Her unparalleled expertise, nurtured by decades of practice and exploration, makes her a valuable guide for all those who wish to progress.
With generosity and passion, Baccarha will come to share his experience, his tips and above all the immense pleasure of knitting together.

The purpose of his courses
Understanding what we are doing to create better: visualizing stitches and structures, progressing smoothly, learning new techniques and… having fun! The goal is to be better equipped to explore knitting without blindly following a pattern, while remaining supported — never left to fend for yourself in the jungle.
Card registration:

Topic: Follow-up for the basics of Top Down
Hours: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM • Tricoton Shop
Description: You started a top-down project during the Raglan or Contiguous Method courses, but some questions remain? Do you want to check your calculations, correct a detail, unlock a technical point or simply consolidate your knowledge?
This Follow-up course is a support space where you will review the key elements of raglan and contiguous constructions, adjust your current project and gain confidence to continue independently.
An ideal time to ask your questions, refine your technical choices and ensure that your knitting is progressing in the right direction.
Course objectives:
- Consolidate the basics of the top-down raglan method and the contiguous method .
- Check and adjust the mesh calculations
- Correct or refine the construction of the ongoing project
- Understanding and resolving the difficulties encountered
- Gaining independence and confidence for the rest of the knitting
👉 Only bring:
- Your current project stemming from the Top down raglan and/or contiguous method courses.
No new equipment is required: this course is dedicated to monitoring, consolidation and personalized troubleshooting.
Knitting finishes (base)

Topic: Knitting Finishing (Basics)
Hours: 10:00 AM–1:00 PM • Tricoton Shop
Description :
The finishing touches on a knitted piece make all the difference to its quality. They can ruin it or, conversely, enhance it. In this course, we will cover the basic techniques to ensure a flawless finish for your knitting.
During this course we will cover:
• The importance of selvedge stitching for preparing your finishing touches
• Different ways to change threads and how to tuck them in as invisibly as possible
• Different ways to bind off stitches
• How to avoid holes when decreasing stitches
• How to pick up stitches correctly
• Why and how to block your work at the end
👉 What to bring:
- A project in progress (sweater, vest, accessories…) or a simple 10cm x 10cm swatch still on your needles to practice the different methods
- Your usual needles and accessories
- Something to take notes on
This basic course is followed by a more advanced course (embellishments) where we will cover how to embellish your knits with different hems, advanced cast-ons and bind-offs, crochet or embroidery.
