Description:
With 50% yak, this exceptional base is immediately recognizable. It combines the beauty of yak, with its deep and nuanced color, flexible drape, and excellent natural thermal properties, with silk, which adds shine, strength, and fluidity. The well-twisted yarn offers very beautiful stitch definition. The resulting fabric is refined, with a supple drape and a light halo provided by the yak, for a look that is both elegant and comfortable.
This yarn is undyed and retains the natural color of the fiber as it exists on the animal. This authentic shade reveals all the richness, depth, and subtle nuances inherent to the material, which are impossible to reproduce artificially. It thus possesses a unique, living, and deeply organic beauty.
The yak comes from Tibet and Mongolia, and the Grade A mulberry silk comes primarily from China. Grade A silk corresponds to the highest quality of silk. OEKO-TEX® certified.
