Description
Description
Inspired by the majestic Mount Sajama, Bolivia's highest peak, Sayama is a thread that embodies all the natural and cultural richness of the Bolivian altiplano.
Made from equal parts virgin wool and baby llama wool , this yarn combines softness, lightness and robustness , perfect for colorful patterned knits and Nordic style projects.
An exceptional, local and ethical fiber
From shearing to dyeing, all stages of production take place in Bolivia, at a spinning mill located in El Alto. The wool comes from llamas and sheep raised on the Bolivian highlands, with respect for animal welfare. Certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 , Sayama yarn is healthy, sustainable, and traceable .
A palette inspired by Bolivia
Sayama's hues pay homage to Andean landscapes , traditional Aymara textiles , and vibrant festivals . Between natural tones and bold colors, each skein evokes a fragment of Bolivian cultural heritage.
